Our passion is turning
your digital and traditional photos into fine giclée canvas art prints, and finding great home décor. America's Walls uses the giclée
method of printing for all of our photo on canvas prints. The term giclée (pronounced zhee-clay) was coined in 1991 by print maker Jack Duganne to describe fine art digital prints made on ink-jet printers. The printing process was invented in the late 1980s, and today the term giclée is used by artists, galleries, and design studios like America's Walls to denote such prints.
America's Walls canvas photo prints are printed using archival inks on archival canvas to ensure your photo to canvas print maintains its vibrant and resilient color for decades to come. What makes America's Walls different from other photo to canvas companies is that we are a design studio based on the idea of family with a strong presence in our community. About Our Name...America's Walls
The
name of our company is very important to us, and was chosen based on
characteristics of our company and our staff. All of America's
Walls' products and other products promoted on this website are made in the United States of America. This is a very important part of who we are. The word America is also a part of our name to incorporate our parent company, Props America.
The walls portion of our name is a little more complex. We could have been named America's Canvas, or something similar to that, but we did not want to be limited to just
our beautiful photo on canvas art prints. We do love our canvas prints, but our staff is composed of a group of creative folks who are heavily into interior design and decorating. We are always on the lookout for great finds to make our homes beautiful and unique. With our interests in interior design and decorating, we decided that the second part of our name should describe the location of where our products tend to be placed.
